Cold weather in Romania took 13 victims

Sunday 13 people died because of the cold weather in Romania where heavy snowfalls and fell. According to the Secretary of State for the Interior Ministry, most of the dead were homeless people, some of whom - consumed alcohol. 
About a week Romania suffers from low temperatures and snow storms that hit the high traffic and dozens of isolated villages.
On Friday, temperatures fell to minus 18 degrees Celsius in Barlad and minus 15 - Bucharest. 
Hundreds of soldiers have been mobilized in recent days to clear roads and assist the stranded people in their homes. Monday schools in several areas of the country remain closed.

Only one day of the places in the region has accumulated one meter of snow. In Carinthia , for the first time since 1999 was declared the highest fifth level of alert and issued a warning for avalanches . According to meteorologists as snowfall in one day is something that happens for the first time in 75 years.
Some settlements have proved virtually cut off from the world. Movement of heavy vehicles on some roads was very limited and the traffic on some railway lines were disrupted. In clearing the snow in some places include the Austrian army . Weather killed two people in Austria. One was killed in an avalanche .
